The inaugural presidential debate of the 2024 Election year will occur on Thursday, June 27 at 9 p.m. PBS News is set to broadcast The CNN Presidential Debate Simulcast live on THIRTEEN.

Featuring President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, the debate will implement muted microphones to prevent interruptions and ensure equitable speaking time. Taking place at CNN's headquarters in Atlanta, the event will be moderated by CNN anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, and no live audience will be present.

This historic debate marks the earliest televised presidential debate in election cycle history and the first-ever between a sitting president and a former president. The subsequent debate is scheduled for September 10.

Following the debate, PBS News will provide immediate coverage anchored by Amna Nawaz and Geoff Bennett. White House correspondent Laura Barrón-López and Capitol Hill correspondent Lisa Desjardins will contribute reporting, alongside expert analysis from additional guests.
