Early Life and Education
Joe Biden was the eldest of four siblings in a Catholic family. His father, Joseph Sr., worked various jobs, including as a used car salesman, while his mother, Catherine Eugenia "Jean" Biden, was a homemaker. The family moved to Delaware when Biden was a child, where he grew up in the suburbs of Wilmington.
